Graphic and Web Design for Educational Non-Profit

From 2012-2014, I was BAYFEST’s graphic and web designer, creating materials for print and web for their annual summer drama program.

In 2012, I redesigned the original logo: I kept the iconic tragedy/comedy masks flanked by the British and American flags, but updated the font to something more contemporary. The logo’s new look is complemented by the tricolor tagline which serves as a visual mnemonic.

In 2013, I rebuilt the BAYFEST site in WordPress, incorporating the new logo and modified colour scheme. I also rewrote and reorganized the site’s content to make it more user-friendly.

In 2014, BAYFEST formally expanded from being a summer drama intensive to bringing the dramatic arts to stimulate learning in the classroom: I built its sister site, BAYFESTeducation.org, from scratch – everything from registering the domain to building the site, to designing a logo that complements the original Youth Theatre logo.

Regular projects included designing business cards, posters, and flyers; and creating email campaigns.
